Could Chuck Lorre be making a ninth season of Two and a Half Men just to spite Charlie Sheen?

I read somewhere online that Lorre was "desperate" to keep the Two and a Half men family and I'm skeptical of how appropriate Ashton Kucher will be considering he is about 10 years younger than Charle Sheen plus Charlie Harper is 42/43 in the show and is the older brother to another 42/43 yearold. Kutcher is only 33 years old and looks it too if not even younger! How does it work?
